Your eyes can be so cruel Pg26Sarah re-materialised next to Jareth who had fallen asleep and was snoozing. 'Figures.' Sarah said to herself. She took her mail out of her bag and began opening it. It consisted of many bills, and a brown letter that looked very official. She ripped it open and began to read.

'Oh for goodness sake, she can stuff her job.' Sarah said rather loudly waking Jareth up. 'What's wrong Sarah?' Jareth said sitting up and rubbing his eyes. 'Oh nothing, just go back to sleep.' Sarah sighed, smiling at him. 'I shall do no such thing, you told me to wait and I'm waiting now.' He said rather smugly. 'Oh alright then, goblin man, I'll be back in a m
Your eyes can be so cruel Pg14Jareth woke in the morning before Sarah to find himself on the edge of the mattress as Sarah had star-fished in her sleep and almost knocked him out of the bed. Her naked body lie next to him, her hand resting by her mouth, her legs outstretched, yet slightly bent. She woke up, wincing at the sunlight to find him staring at her. He traced his fingers lightly over her stomach and through her décolletage and made her skin come up in goose pimples. 'Good morning to you, too' She said rolling onto her side and pushing him off the bed. Jareth hit the floor with a loud thud. He wrapped one of the sheets around his waist to hide his nakedness. 'There's just no romance with you, is there?' He said throwing a pillow at her. She pouted at him and hugged the pillow. 'There is too! I'm very romantic when I'm not hungover.' Sarah said smiling and reaching for her pill. She got up, throwing on one of the skimpy nightgowns Jareth had secretly filled the nightwear section of the wardro

It had come to Monday, or in the Underground, Senderday. Sarah woke in Jareth's arms, he looked like a beautiful stature next to her, he looked almost human, with his hair ruffled from sleep and his markings gone, even his glitter had seemed to disappear, which upset her slightly, as she thought it was his livelihood. She was suddenly very shocked when she saw her sheets, they weren't her usual black cotton, with embroidered owls; they were black silk, with embroidered rose stalks with the flowers a rich, deep red on the pillows and sheets. She sat up suddenly and looked around the room. The walls were stone with the highest ceiling adorned with a magnificent chandelier positioned perfectly on the painted ceiling; tapestries were draped over each wall, with a solid marble floor. Through the open window, she could see the Labyrinth, and Jareth's castle. 'Jareth, wake up!' She said as she shook him awake, 'What? What's going on?' He asked sleepily. 'We're already in the Underground! Look

Jareth's eyes widened as he looked into Sarah's slightly frightened face. 'Sarah...really?' Jareth stared at her maintaining his wide eyed expression, his eyes appeared to be filling with tears, his face blushing, 'I've always loved you, from the very first moment I set eyes on you, but I'm sure you knew figured that out on your own...' Jareth sat up and fell into Sarah's arms 'I love you Sarah, with all my heart. I always will and always have.' Sarah kissed his forehead and cradled him in her arms until his tears stopped. Sarah looked down into his face, 'Such a strong and powerful man, yet so soft and beautiful.' Jareth looked up at her, a grin spreading across his face. 'Just because I love you, it does not mean I am weak willed or soft in anyway!' He said, pouting. 'Oh of course, I do apologise, you highness. Now put some clothes on.' Sarah replied, as she climbed off of him and started to dress herself. 'I'm going to have a shower, would you like me to keep it running for you?' Sh

'Hoggle please go into the bedroom, I'll call you when I need you.' Sarah said sympathetically sitting on the sofa with Evey. Hoggle turned and waddled back to the bedroom as fast as he could. 'Okay, Evey. Basically, when I was 15, I wished my brother away, I asked that the Goblin King would come and take him away, and...well, he did. As odd as it may seem and as unbelievable, I'm still in contact with the King and my old friends from this other world. He made me solve a labyrinth, and fight through the goblin city to get him back.' Evey looked at her weirdly, so that's where you were last night, in this other 'world' then?' Evey said. 'Yes, that's why our eyes look like this, mine don't normally but his do.' She said looking over at Jareth who was standing uncomfortably. 'So what is Jareth then?' She said looking at him more weirdly than she had, to Sarah. 'Jareth is a fae. a shape-shifter, whatever you'd like to call it.' She said, 'Look, Evey I'm not crazy. Jareth, hand m

'Jareth! You horny monster! We've got to get ready to go!' Sarah giggled as he tried to slip her dress down her shoulders. 'We have enough time, and I want you so bad' Sarah remembered as she had been in the Underground this morning she hadn't had the chance to take her pill. 'Jareth, I can't, please.' She said, pushing him off. 'Why not? Don't you want me?' He said lying next to her, stroking her chest. 'Look, to put it simply, I haven't had my contraceptive, so I can't.' She said sitting up. 'Your what? Are you ill? If so I'll call my doctor,' He said getting off the bed , conjuring a crystal. 'No, I'm not ill, it's what we use in the Above to avoid unwanted pregnancy.' She said looking at him and holding her dress up, trying to zip up the back. 'You don't want to have my child?' Jareth said looking at her, very hurt. 'That's not what I meant. I'm only twenty-five and a child would be a major inconvenience right now. Please don't take this the wrong way, but I'm not ready for childre
Your eyes can be so cruel Pg15Sarah and Evey were startled by an owl trying to get into the window. Sarah's instincts told her it was Jareth, she opened the window and it hopped in and fluttered onto the floor. 'Sarah, what is an owl doing here?' Evey started, but then her eyes widened as the owl was Jareth all of a sudden. The change couldn't be described, it just happened before anyone had known what was going on. 'You can turn into an owl!?' Evey exclaimed, after a moment's pause for an open-mouthed expression. 'Not just an owl. But it's my favourite, they're wise, beautiful and they can soar with ease. Just like me.' Jareth announced, quite proud of himself. Sarah shook Jareth's arm violently. 'We need to go back to the Underground. Celeste stole Toby.' She said, her eyes filling with tears. The room melted away and they were back in the main hall of Jareth's castle once more, the sun fading in the sky. Berylla walked through to greet the girls and saw Sarah, trying to hide her tears. Berylla went to Sarah crad

Jareth awoke on the sofa, exactly where Sarah had fallen asleep on him, although she appeared to be missing. He found a little book on the table with a pen and a note. It read ' Dear Jareth, I've gone shopping for a little bit as I'm running low on coffee and mugs (because of you) And I'll be back around 3pm, if you have any problems, call me, my number is in the book under 'my mobile' See you later, and don't wreck anything!' The last bit made Jareth laugh a little. He sat for a while, twisting his crystals between his fingers, but he soon became bored and summoned a goblin to make him a coffee, because he was afraid of the kettle, well, he was afraid of scalding himself. He started to pace around the apartment, nosing through things until he found something that was of his interest. He had found many plushies of creatures from his labyrinth, some he recognised, others he couldn't. He noticed one in particular of Hoggle, Sarah's weather-beaten friend that
