Sarah and Evey were startled by an owl trying to get into the window. Sarah's instincts told her it was Jareth, she opened the window and it hopped in and fluttered onto the floor. 'Sarah, what is an owl doing here?' Evey started, but then her eyes widened as the owl was Jareth all of a sudden. The change couldn't be described, it just happened before anyone had known what was going on. 'You can turn into an owl!?' Evey exclaimed, after a moment's pause for an open-mouthed expression. 'Not just an owl. But it's my favourite, they're wise, beautiful and they can soar with ease. Just like me.' Jareth announced, quite proud of himself. Sarah shook Jareth's arm violently. 'We need to go back to the Underground. Celeste stole Toby.' She said, her eyes filling with tears. The room melted away and they were back in the main hall of Jareth's castle once more, the sun fading in the sky. Berylla walked through to greet the girls and saw Sarah, trying to hide her tears. Berylla went to Sarah cradling her in her arms. 'Calm down, child. What's the matter?' she said in a soothing voice. Jareth had taken Evey to Viktus who was awaiting her like a lost puppy. 'Oh Berylla! Lucious' fiancée, Celeste has taken my brother, like Jareth did 10 years ago, but I don't think it's love of Lucious' mind.' She said, trying to be strong, for Toby. 'Child, then we must get him back. Lucious maybe a bad egg, but he will bring no harm to your brother whilst he is in the Underground.' Berylla said strongly, Sarah felt she could go on the words of Berylla as she knew Lucious the best out of anyone. 'We will go to his castle tomorrow and retrieve him. You don't have to face him if you don't want to, love.' Sarah felt much better, knowing Berylla was on their side, being the Queen of the Underground and the most powerful of the fae.

Sarah awoke in the night to find Jareth missing from their bed, his sheets were tossed and the mattress cover was showing. Sarah looked in the bathroom, but there was nothing in there apart from the sunken bath and the shower that was a stone figure of Aquarius, pouring a jug. She moved back into the bedroom and dressed herself in his bathrobe, it was definitely too big for her, but she managed with it, trying hard not to trip. In the pocket she found a crystal, she kept it in there, just in case she needed it. She walked out, with a lit candle that illuminated the hallway where only Jareth's bedroom was situated, right at the end. She started to walk silently down the hall, looking out for any movement, but there was none. She carried on in her little bubble of candle light, she was afraid to go into the dark. She often thought it silly for a twenty-five year old woman to be afraid of the dark, but she always had been ever since she was a very little girl. She was nearing the staircase to the throne room, she had reached the thrones, carefully stepping over sleeping goblins, careful not to wake the chickens, also. She heard rustling coming from a room at the far end of the room, behind a large wooden door. She opened the door, controlling her candle light as not to startle anything she didn't want to meet. She held her breath as the door swung open, there stood the back on Jareth, rooting through books as if he had lost something. 'Jareth,' She said quietly and he swung around, looking quite worried. 'What're you doing in here so late?' She continued. 'Sarah, my steeds have been stolen and I cannot travel to my brother's kingdom the same way I travel throughout mine.' Sarah sighed, 'Then it's going to be like old times, darling. Only this time, you're on my side.' She smiled. 'Don't be worried, Honey. Together we can get through anything.' Jareth smiled at her enthusiasm. 'I also have a confession...Sarah, I...I don't know the way through my Labyrinth, and we've got to get through it to get out of my kingdom.' Sarah looked at him strangely, 'Jareth, can't you just...y'know...appear and reappear wherever you want in your kingdom?' Jareth looked to the ground and embraced her. 'I tried to do that to find who had stolen my steeds, but I can't seem to for some reason.' Sarah hugged him tighter and kissed his neck. 'We'll get through it, lets go to bed.'

In the morning everyone was gathered in the main hall, fed and watered. They seemed somewhat of a motley crew with three fae, two humans, Hoggle, Ludo, along with Didymus and Ambrosias. 'Onwards and Upwards!' Didymus shouted, striking Jareth's leg with his cane. Sarah quickly grabbed him, 'Didymus! What are you doing?' She said, slightly shaking him to remind him it was her. 'M'lady, I was saying for us to go, he can go wherever he wants in the Labyrinth, we shan't waste another moment!' Didymus said waving his cane around. 'Didymus, he can't, someone has stopped him. We have to go through the Labyrinth the same as last time.' Didymus stopped waving his cane and looked to the ground. 'Oh...we will all be here for you then, m'lady.' Sarah put Didymus back on Ambrosias' back and the gates to the castle were opened with a loud creak and they were off on their way. Through the goblin city, they were escorted by a crowd of goblins, all decked up to the hilt with all their homemade weapons and armour, some letting out a battle cry every now and again. 'Well, they're certainly enthusiastic aren't they?' Evey said, clutching Viktus' hand and looking at Sarah. 'They live to serve and protect us.' Jareth said proudly, looking to his loyal subjects that surrounded him, ready to risk their lives for their king.

The gates to the goblin city swung open slowly and wearily, they hadn't been opened in a long time as not many had any reason to enter the Labyrinth, especially from the goblin city and beyond. They stepped out, the crowd of goblins dispersing as they went further and further from the city. 'Your majesty!' One of the goblins shouted in front of Jareth, on one knee with his arm raised across his chest bowing. 'Yes, what is it?' Jareth stopped walking and looked down to the goblin. 'If you need da army, jus' call and we'll be with you, straight away.' With this he scrambled to his feet and ran back with the other goblins, behind the gates, as they swung shut again. Sarah began to lead with Jareth. 'You know this is all trial and error, don't you?' Sarah said looking at him seriously. 'Jareth rolled his eyes, 'I built this Labyrinth, Sarah, I think I know what I'm doing. Why, do you underestimate me?' He said grinning at her. Just as he finished his sentence, they were confronted with the doorknockers, still itching to get the knocker out of their mouths. 'Well, these are in the wrong place for a start.' Sarah said looking at both of them, one speaking through the ring lodged in his mouth and the other with one through his ears. 'It's the girl! The girl who knocked at the wrong door!' shouted the one with the ring through his ears, obviously having no idea about the volume of his voice. The other one mumbled, trying to get rid of the ring in his mouth. 'If I take out your knocker, you had better take it back into your mouth.' Sarah said to the one that could hear her, the deaf one shouting about the mute's speaking with his mouth full. Jareth silenced the deaf knocker by surrounding him with a crystal bubble. Sarah removed the mute's knocker and he made strange shapes with his mouth, trying to exercise his mouth. 'You're the girl who knocked at the wrong door, we heard your scream, and the fireys trying to take off your head!' he paused for a moment. 'Well I certainly heard.' Sarah smiled at the knocker. Jareth moved in and lowered his head to the knocker's height. 'She is Lady Sarah, and you shall address her as such, she is the future queen to the goblin lands including this Labyrinth.' He hissed at the knocker. The knocker made a face at him, 'And who exactly are you, you big haired ponce.' The knocker said matter-of-factly. Jareth straightened up and summoned a goblin, which began to kick his door and poke his face with his spear. 'I, am Jareth, the Goblin King. I created this Labyrinth, including the spell that allows you to be alive.' Jareth said, laughing at the knocker. 'Your majesty! I'm sorry, I didn't know!' the knocker shouted as he was being kicked and poked. 'I have a right mind to move your door underwater in the bog of eternal stench!' Jareth roared as the goblin continued. 'No, your highness please!' The knocker cried. Sarah grabbed the small goblin's spear and pulled him back by his ragged shirt. 'Stop it now,' She said looking angrily to Jareth, pushing him aside. 'Look, knocker. I'm sorry for what he did. If you tell us anything you know about the Labyrinth, you won't be put in the bog, I promise.' The goblin was fighting against Sarah's grip, trying to resume kicking the door and stabbing the knocker. 'Jareth! Do you mind?!' she said, throwing the little goblin to Jareth's feet. 'Of course, Lady Sarah. You're too kind.' The knocker said, catching his breath. 'I know my door leads to the fireys, I don't know if his one leads to anywhere better. As you can tell, we don't really travel.' The knocker looked down to the ground, waiting to accept the knocker back into his mouth. Sarah looked to Jareth who had sent the goblin away and dispersed the crystal bubble around the deaf knocker, as he had stopped shouting and fallen asleep. 'Well, we'll just have to take our chances, I'm not going to get my head pulled off, because this time, Hoggle is here and not up on the wall to save me.' Sarah stepped to the side and knocked at the deaf knocker's door and woke him up. 'It's the girl and she's taking my door! You could have asked me!' He shouted. Jareth stepped towards him and Sarah stopped him in his tracks. 'Don't bother, He's deaf.' Evey and Viktus started to walk through the door with everyone else, examining the knockers. Evey began, 'How weird...living braaaaa-' Evey had fallen through a trapdoor in the flooring, Viktus almost falling in too. 'Evey! I'm coming!' Viktus shouted and dived into the hole. 'I believe that's an oubliette.' Jareth said. 'Or the bog, I can't remember...'  Sarah felt enraged, 'Hoggle, Ludo, Didymus, please meet us somewhere, Ludo, the rocks will tell you where we are.' Sarah grabbed his cape and jumped down the hole too, dragging Jareth with her.
Finally, I can get this posted after last night's annoyingness, more to come:)
