Lucious approached his bedroom having sorted the confusion between himself and Maniel, he heard some banging coming from his chambers, he imagined Maniel hadn't released his spell of binding over Toby. As he entered his luxurious bedroom his thoughts were confirmed as Toby was trying to wriggle free of the black ropes that bound his limbs together, although he had managed to clothes himself in a pair of human jeans. 'Tobias, stop wriggling. I'll untie you.' Lucious said sternly, cutting the ropes with a knife he had conjured. Toby sat cross-legged on the floor looking down to the floor. He spoke quietly, his voice shaking as he awaited another strike from Lucious. 'I'm sorry, Lucious. I just couldn't stop myself, he told me that you had used me and that you were engaged to that Celeste.' He said her name with a little disgust. Lucious sat on his bed. 'I was engaged to her, but, I don't want her.' Toby shot a glance at him, 'I know, Lucious, you want Sarah...you're just messing around with me, I didn't really think about it, I'm sorry.' Lucious grabbed Toby's face and turned it to him. 'I wasn't messing around with you...maybe at first, I was but I never wanted Sarah I just didn't want Jareth to have her.' Lucious confessed, looking into Toby's eyes. 'I've made up my mind. I want you and I never want you to like anyone else the way you do me.' Lucious said firmly, although letting go of Toby's face. 'I do like you, Lucious, it hurt me when Maniel told me you were engaged.' Toby returned his gaze to the floor. 'He used the anger in you to control you using his hypnosis and telepathy. I should have known that when he was so quick to betray Jar-' Lucious stopped, remembering what he had told Toby but Toby had heard and turned his head to Lucious, 'Jareth? Maniel is a friend of Jareth's?' Lucious sighed, 'Look, I wanted to get back at Jareth, ok? Sibling rivalry and whatever. I never meant any harm to Sarah. I thought she was perfect, until I met you.' Lucious looked into Toby's eyes and brushed his hair out of his eyes and saw where he had cut Toby's face with his ring, earlier. 'Lucious, you lied to me. Sarah isn't in danger at all is she? You were just jealous and wanted what you couldn't have.' Toby got to his feet, wiping the blood off his cheek. 'Tobias, don't leave.' Lucious said, Toby was heading for the door. 'Tobias.' He said sternly. Toby stopped and turned. 'What Lucious? What could you possibly say to make this situation better?' Toby said, dressing himself in his band shirt with jeans and his gym-boots. 'Toby, if you go you'll die. It's part of the turning fae process. You can't leave my side for more than a week or you'll die, I'm sorry but I can't let you leave.' Lucious said standing up raking a hand through his hair and sighing. 'I'm not lying to you. I wouldn't do that. I'm not engaged to Celeste anymore, I left her with her parents and apologised for my mistake.' Toby looked right into his eyes. 'What are you trying to say? It's ok now because you're single? I still feel betrayed and now, you tell me I'll die if I leave.' Toby said, banging his fist on the door. Lucious turned him around and kissed him softly on the lips, his hand healing his face, he pulled back. 'Toby, I love you.' Toby's face was in utter shock and disbelief, 'Lucious, you can't just throw that around. You've lied to me and now you need to regain my trust, I'm not going to be messed about with again.' Toby said, slightly angered at Lucious' confession. Lucious banged his fist on the door beside Toby's head, he looked up into Toby's eyes again, his own full of tears. 'Toby, I don't love you. I'm in love with you and I don't want to lose you, I'll do anything in my power to prove that to you and make you love me too.' Lucious' heart ached when Toby replied. 'I don't love you, Lucious. I might grow to, but, right now I'm not in love with you, just because we've had sex and you've been treating me doesn't mean we're in love. You can't buy my affection, I do like you, a lot, but, it's not love, not yet.' Toby left the room and went back to the gardens where he smoked and continued with his fishing. Lucious remained in his bedroom, he thought long and hard about what he could do to make Toby return his affection.
'I've never been made to feel so weak about or by anyone, and now, this boy, this child has come and made me feel so small. I can't help but love him. Why must us fae wear our hearts on our sleeves? I'll do all I can to make him love me, I must. I was in Jareth's shadow all my life, he was always better at everything, I know mother loved him the most.'

Evey and Sarah joined the men in Berylla's dining hall when Evey had begun to feel better.  She ate although she felt no need or want to, just to please Sarah who was keeping a watchful eye over her, Viktus and Evey exchanged no words since she had asked him to help her.  Over dinner; Berylla, Jareth and Sarah conversed about various things from wedding arrangements to Jareth's childhood. 'He was always a mischief maker. He'd summon goblins to beat up his brother when he was mean to him.' Berylla laughed as Jareth blushed. 'I bet you spoiled him as a kid, he still has the odd spell of 'spoilt brat syndrome' and it's so funny.' Sarah said to Berylla. 'Yes, I did spoil him, much more than Lucious because I think Jareth was the last part of his father I had and I truly loved his father.' Berylla seemed in a daydream when she spoke of Jareth's father. 'Yes, mother and now you're seeing another man, am I right?' Berylla blushed slightly. 'I still have plenty of years left in me and I don't want to spend them alone, I saw how miserable you were for ten years and Sterne is charming and witty. Speaking of Sterne, Viktus bled all over his suit!' Berylla laughed and turned to Viktus who was also in daydream mode. 'He wasn't bothered anyway, such a nice man.' Berylla said.

After the dinner, Viktus was outside with Evey who he had offered a cigarette to, wordless. Evey looked at Viktus, the perfect man as he leant against a pillar and stared out over the dusk-lit Underground. 'Viktus,' Evey started, he turned his head to her, worrying about if she was going to yell at him again for bringing her back to the Underground. 'Yes, Evelyn?' he asked. 'I wanted to apologise for the way I acted yesterday, before I left and I wanted to thank you as well, for saving me, I'm sure that guy would have killed me after he used me.' It hurt Evey to think about it and it also hurt Viktus to think about what he could've done to her. 'I couldn't let that happen to you, I love you, no matter what.' Viktus said, smiling at her sadly. 'I love you too, Viktus. I have also made a decision.' Her face seemed saddened but optimistic. 'What's that then, my love?' Viktus said fearing she wanted to leave the Underground for good. 'I want to be your fiancée.' His face lit up and he ran to her, clutching her in his arms, 'I love you so much, Evey. You have no idea what this means to me, honestly, and we don't have to get married right away, we can take as long as you want.' Evey smiled and hugged him back, not so tightly. 'Viktus, I'm so glad to hear that, but...' she struggled to say, 'You're crushing me, I'm still human, remember?' Viktus let her go, fixing her hair, 'I'm sorry...I forgot.' They giggled and kissed each other. Evey was happy once more although her ordeal still lingered in her mind.
Jareth and Sarah lay in bed, in her skimpy nightdress. She suddenly remembered something she had left behind in the Above. 'Wait here,' She said to Jareth and disappeared into nothingness. She was suddenly lying on her bed in the pitch black of her bedroom. Her plushies were all over the floor and she discovered a note on her bed when she turned on the light, dressing herself in an instant, she read the note.

Dear Sarah,
I came by to see where you were as you haven't answered your phone in days, please call me when you get this, I'm worried sick and I'm thinking of getting the police involved. I'm really worried about Toby, he's not been home in three days now. Karen is crying herself to sleep at night and I need some reassurance.

'Oh shit, I completely forgot.' She said as she searched for her cell phone, finding the bag she had hidden, the day she had been shopping and left Jareth alone in her apartment. 'Well at least I found this.' She found her cell phone in the kitchen and a mountain of letters by her door, she grabbed the letters and put everything in the bag and left for the Underground.
